The World Bishops Council (WBC) is the largest body of ecumenical Bishops in inter-communion for unity and peace for the Body of Christ representing over 25 million Christians World-Wide
The WBC provides a support mechanism to Bishop's who are deeply committed to the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ.

The WBC is a Union of Bishops which confess the Lord Jesus as God and Savior according to Church Tradition and the Holy Scriptures and therefore seek to fufil together their common vocation to the glory of the one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Apart from the Holy Synod, the World Bishops Council has operative branches and standing commissions to advance our unity through joint effort for the sake of the world.
The WBC was established to preserve the integrity of the episcopacy. General Members of the council are in the true meaning "Valid Bishops" working together for the support of the true faith. Associate Members of the council do not have "Apostolic Succession".
